Thifty Finds

I was going through my closet earlier last month, purging and rotating for the upcoming spring weather... Dumb move on my part because this weather where I live has some serious issues.  Warm one day, cold the next, coat one day, rain boots the next and on and on.
Pardon my adult ADD rant, but ANYWAY, I came across two really cute tops with tags that I had scored at my local Goodwill LAST SPRING! Uh Huh, you heard me right, Goodwill baby all day long.
Goodwill and thrift stores are places that people sometimes overlook when shopping for fashionable items. If you are looking for vintage and or unique pieces, thrifting is the thing to do and I have been doing it a for a while now.  I also donate my clothes and my childrens clothes to thrift stores. After all, one lady's past season items are another lady's couture...
The tops that I purchased were $5 each and they were NEW from Target!! I dont know if any of you guys know this but, Target and Goodwill are affiliates with each other. So, whatever Target doesn't sell to regular customers, they sell  to Goodwill.  It is kind of hit or miss though.  But hey, you never know what you may run across in a thrift store.
The green is not showing true, but it is a beautiful emerald green and the other top is a vibrant coral color.  They are both from Mossimo and they are Pantone colors for the season.  The coral top has a drawstring in the waist area. The green top has a straight shape to it but can be cinched in the waist with a belt.  These tops can also be layered with blazers or sweaters.  They are nice pops of color.
So, I also ran by Target just looking and I found this pretty leopard print skirt with a split and pockets for $6.88!!!!  I can't wait to wear this. For me, animal print, especially leopard or cheetah print is like black...You can wear it with anything. Any suggestions on how to wear these pieces would be greatly appreciated.  How would you rock them out??  I am here  to show you that you dont have to go broke looking fashionable.
Um, did you peep the name of this blog??? It's all about being a FRUGAL FASHIONISTA!! Till next time my lovelies...... xoxo
