I'm Baaaccckkk!!!!

Ever grow out a perfect set of nails?? I mean all natural and perfect? Then, the unthinkable happens.... One of your nails cracks or splits.
A tragedy, I tell you is literally at hand!
So, what did I do when this happened to me on Sunday? I dug around in my nail polish and treatment stash and found a bottle of nail glue to mend my nail until I went to my local CVS.
And so, today I went to CVS in search of a "nail mender".
Did I mention the fact that I have a wedding to attend this Saturday, and a perfect manicure is vital to my whole ensemble outfit??!!!
So while perusing the nail section, I come across Sally Hansen Hard As Nails, Hard As Wraps Acrylic Nail Gel!!!
What a mouthful of a name!!!?!! With all of that, it should be able to do something!!!
So, I removed my old polish, shaped, buffed, and groomed my nails.. The right thumb nail is the damaged nail, so I applied some nail glue, let it dry, then proceeded to apply this gel/polish. It claims it will harden the nails in 60 seconds.
Initial application is kind of gooey and thick. But, by the 3rd nail, I figured out the best way to apply. 3 strokes, 1down the middle and 1 to each side of the nail. This ensures there are no lumps or bubbling. It took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to completely dry. So I advise that you do this when you have some idle time on your hands.
The results are shiny nails that feel hardened, and the broken nail is nice, smooth, and mended... For how long, we shall see... I plan to give an update post on this product. It retailed for $5.99.
I have included pics, please excuse the yellowing of my nails from nail polish. I plan to take care of that soon.
Till next time..... Smooches!!!!
